Spooky Touch-Ups: Interior Painting Tricks to Refresh Any Room Before Guests Arrive

Halloween may be all about cobwebs and creaky corners, but that doesn’t mean your home should look haunted! A fresh coat of paint can transform a tired room into a warm, inviting space just in time for the holidays. Whether you’re preparing for family visits or just want a fresh start before the new year, a few smart painting tricks make a huge difference without breaking your budget.

1) Scare Away the Scuffs

Before painting, patch and lightly sand those wall dings and scuffs that show up under bright lights. Even one afternoon of prep makes your finish look professional.

2) Go Bold — in Small Doses

Feature walls are your friend. Painting one wall in a rich, warm tone (deep green, navy, or clay) can totally change the vibe without painting the whole room.

3) Color That Welcomes

Holiday lighting pairs beautifully with warm neutrals — creamy whites, soft taupe, or clay beige. These tones make décor pop and give you flexibility all season.

4) Timing Tricks

Paint takes time to dry — especially in cool weather. Plan at least 24 hours before moving furniture back, and 48 before hanging art. Need it done fast? Our team can prep, paint, and clean up in a day or two.

5) Finishing Touch

Upgrade your trim and doors with semi-gloss white — it brightens your space instantly. Think of it as the “frame” around your freshly painted masterpiece.

Deck & Patio Holiday-Prep: 5 Outdoor Improvements That Make Entertaining Easy (and Stress-Free)

Halloween’s almost here and the holidays are right behind it — which means now is the perfect time to get your outdoor spaces guest-ready. Whether you plan to host a small family gathering, Thanksgiving on the patio, or a cozy winter fire-pit night, a few smart fixes now save stress (and expense) later. Mr. Clean Fix specializes in outdoor upgrades — decks, patios, fences, carports and more — and we’ll show you five practical improvements that deliver the biggest return for time and money. Mr. Clean Fix (208) 292-7204

1) Safety & Stability First — Inspect, Repair, Reinforce

Before lights, seating, or guests arrive, walk your deck and patio with a checklist: loose boards, wobbly railings, popped nails, and soft/rot spots. A quick fix (tighten fasteners, replace a board, reinforce a post) prevents accidents and keeps holiday plans on track. These repairs are small but matter for safety and longevity. Mr. Clean Fix (208) 292-7204

2) Clean & Bright — Pressure Wash + Seal

A pressure wash removes months (or years) of dirt, pollen, and mildew and immediately brightens outdoor surfaces. Follow with a sealant or clear coat where appropriate to protect wood and aggregate surfaces through wet, cold months. This step makes decorations and furniture look better and extends the life of your deck. (If you want, we can handle both the pressure wash and the sealing.) Mr. Clean Fix (208) 292-7204

3) Smart Lighting — Add Layers for Safety & Ambience

Install simple path lights, stair lighting, and plug-in string lights to create a warm, safe atmosphere. Low-voltage or solar fixtures are easy upgrades; for a clean professional look we can advise placement and run the wiring so you don’t have temporary extension cords in walkways.

4) Weather-Ready Seating & Shelter

Think about quick ways to make your space comfortable when temperatures drop — outdoor rugs, waterproof cushions, and a portable propane heater or a pergola/canopy. If your space needs a more permanent upgrade (covered patio, gazebo, carport), that’s one of our specialties. Mr. Clean Fix (208) 292-7204

5) Finishing Touches — Railings, Planters & a Welcoming Entry

Small details make guests feel welcome: a freshly stained railing, a seasonal planter beside the door, and cleared walkways. If the railing needs replacement or the entry step is uneven, fix those now to avoid holiday hassle.

Quick timeline & budget guidance

  • Safety fixes & small repairs — often completed in 1 day for a single crew.

  • Pressure washing + seal — 1 day (drying time varies).

  • Lighting & small upgrades — 1–2 days depending on wiring and fixtures.
For a free walk-through and estimate, call or email us — we’ll prioritize what matters most for your holiday timeline. Mr. Clean Fix (208) 292-7204

Answer the Call: Discipline + Patience = Success

“God gives heavy loads to warriors. Not to break them... but to reveal them to themselves.”
— Andy Frisella

Some weeks, the progress isn’t flashy — no new photos, no big “before and after.” But behind the scenes, the real work is happening: steady, disciplined, patient effort. The kind that builds not just homes, but character.

We made more progress on the deck and began shaping the new stone fireplace surround this week. Both projects are at that in-between stage — where the foundation is there, but the finish line still sits a little out of reach. It’s the phase where patience is tested, where weather delays, material waits, and fine details start to stretch your endurance.

That’s where Andy Frisella’s message hit home for us this morning:

“He didn’t give you the load to make you question your worth. He gave it to show you your power.”

In construction — and in life — the “load” isn’t a punishment. It’s a calling. The tough jobs, the unexpected obstacles, the long days on-site — they’re all proof that you’ve been trusted with something worth building.

And just like the image we shared this week reminds us:

Discipline + Patience = Success

Every day on a job site is a small act of discipline. Every delay handled with persistence is an act of patience. When those two meet — and are repeated over time — success is inevitable.

So even without the pictures this week, the story continues: steady hands, stronger structure, one day at a time.

The call’s been answered.

🌧️ Motivation Monday: Keep Showing Up

It’s that time of year when the weather starts to turn — gray skies, steady rain, and the feeling that summer energy has finally faded out.

Work slows a little. Projects stretch a little longer. The drive to get things done takes just a bit more effort.

But that’s life sometimes — not about speed, but staying steady.

Lately, we’ve been wrapping up our last few jobs of the summer season. Nothing flashy, nothing big — just showing up, pushing through, and finishing strong, one day at a time. And honestly, that’s where real growth happens. Not in the highlight moments, but in the quiet ones — when it’s just you, your work, and the decision to keep going.

Andy Frisella said it best in his email today:

“Everyone’s fighting something.
Still showing up.
Still pushing.
Still smiling through it.”

It’s true. Everyone you see — the client, the coworker, the stranger at the store — they’re all carrying something you can’t see. So are we. But we keep going. We build. We work. We do our best with what we’ve got, rain or shine.

The world feels heavy right now. There’s noise, stress, uncertainty — but that makes kindness and consistency matter even more.

This week, let’s be the ones who keep showing up.
Let’s be the ones who say the good word, lend a hand, give patience instead of frustration.
Let’s keep making small progress — because progress, even slow, is still movement forward.

You never know who needs that extra bit of encouragement.
And truthfully, we all do.

So here’s to another Monday.
Still showing up.
Still building.
Still moving forward.

Even in the rain — we’re still making progress.

Patio & Garage Project: One Year Later, Hard Work Pays Off!

After nearly a year of dedication, patience, and perseverance, we’re thrilled to share that this beautiful patio and garage project has officially passed its final inspection and is complete! 🎉

This one meant a little more to us. What started as a shared vision turned into a journey of resilience and determination. We faced challenges along the way that would have stopped many, but we never lost sight of the goal. Together, we worked through every delay, every adjustment, and every new step until this home became exactly what was envisioned.

The result? A stunning garage that perfectly complements the home’s design—with a deep blue exterior, crisp white trim, and a clean, seamless concrete finish. The covered patio adds a warm, welcoming touch, creating the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful North Idaho surroundings.

We’re proud of this one not just because it turned out beautifully, but because of what it represents: strength, patience, and partnership. Every build tells a story—and this one is about seeing things through, even when the road gets rough.

A huge thank-you to our amazing client for trusting us through it all, and to our crew for their hard work and commitment to finishing strong.

Here’s to new beginnings, finished projects, and the satisfaction of seeing it all come together. 💙🏡

💪 Motivation Monday: Your Mind Builds Everything

At Mr. Clean Fix, we talk a lot about building — homes, decks, kitchens, spaces that people love. But the truth is, everything you build on the outside begins with what’s happening on the inside.

Your mindset is the foundation.
Your focus is the framework.
Your habits are the tools that shape everything that follows.

When your thoughts are aligned, clear, and strong, the way you move through life changes. You make sharper decisions. You handle challenges with steadiness. You see opportunity instead of obstacles.

This week, take a look at what you’re feeding your mind.
Are you surrounding yourself with people who bring out your best?
Are you learning from those who’ve built something real?
Are you giving your attention to growth, not gossip — progress, not problems?

Your mental hygiene is your maintenance plan for success.
Feed your mind with good information.
Keep your goals front and center.
Let discipline, not distraction, guide your day.

Because when your mind is strong, your work is stronger.
When your attitude is steady, your vision grows clearer.
And when you take care of your mindset — intentionally, daily, uncompromisingly — your entire life begins to rise to that same level.

Here’s to a week of clarity, growth, and purpose.
Let’s build something great — starting within.

🕒 Aggressive Patience: Building, Waiting, and Winning with Time

If there’s one thing this week reminded us of, it’s this — real progress doesn’t always make noise.

We’ve been deep in those quiet grind stages on a few jobs:

The garage/patio is fully painted, the new door’s installed, and we’re waiting on final inspection.

In the secret room, the corners and ceiling got a clean refresh, and we’re swapping in a new window that actually opens.

The deck keeps stretching out beautifully — just waiting on the next load of boards to arrive.

From the outside, it might look like we’ve hit pause. But this is where the work really happens.

As Andy Frisella said this week:

“Time will either expose you or reward you. It all depends on how you spend it.”

That perspective fits perfectly. Because remodeling — like business, like life — is all about aggressive patience.

You give everything you’ve got today, even when there’s nothing flashy to show for it yet.
You keep pushing through the waiting, the deliveries, the weather, the details.
And when it all comes together, the result speaks louder than words ever could.

So if your own project — or your goals — feel like they’re inching forward right now, don’t lose heart.
You’re not stuck; you’re stacking progress that’s about to break through.

Time isn’t your enemy. It’s just a mirror — reflecting what you do with it.

Closer Than You Think: The Power of Tiny Wins in a Remodel (and in Life)

It’s Tuesday again, and to be honest — it feels like one of those weeks where progress is happening in slow motion. Every project on our list moved forward… just not far enough to brag about yet.

But that’s real life in remodeling (and honestly, real life in general). I reread an email from Andy Frisella this morning that hit home — about how the hardest seasons are the ones that forge the strongest versions of us. It reminded me how much that applies to what we do here every day.

Because behind every “before and after” photo are weeks of tiny wins:

  • A stubborn piece of trim finally comes loose.

  • The primer dries evenly.

  • A leak gets fixed before it turns into a problem.

  • A client texts, “It’s looking great so far.”

None of it feels headline-worthy… until you realize those little moments are what make the big reveal possible.

Why this matters more than shiny before/after photos

People remember how they felt during a project — stressed, excited, proud. The tiny wins make the stress tolerable, build trust, and create the stories you’ll tell later. Projects don’t just change spaces; they change people’s confidence in their home and in themselves.

So if you’re in the middle of a job and it feels slow, don’t quit. If you’re dreaming about starting but worried about the grind, know this — every little step moves you closer. And if you want a team that values small wins as much as final results, we’ve got your back.

Friday Progress: Inspections, Decks & the Secret Room Desk

There’s something special about Fridays in construction. It’s the day to reflect on the week, see the progress made, and plan for what’s next. This Friday is no exception—we’ve got milestones worth celebrating.

Garage & Patio: Final Inspection Coming Up

Our garage and patio project is gearing up for its final inspection early next week. From framing to drywall, from roof to finishing touches—every step has been moving us closer to the finish line. It’s exciting to see all the planning, teamwork, and craftsmanship coming together.

Deck Progress: Boards Taking Shape

Over at another site, the deck is really taking form. Board by board, the outdoor living space is shaping up beautifully. Standing on it now, you can already picture summer evenings, barbecues, and quiet mornings with coffee in hand. The transformation is always rewarding to witness.

The Secret Room Desk: Almost Green

Inside, the “secret room” is in the home stretch of one of its centerpiece features: the custom desk. It’s nearly all the way green now, and once complete, it’ll be the biggest, most luxurious desk we’ve ever built. Patience, precision, and attention to detail are paying off—soon, a one-of-a-kind result will be revealed.

Friday Motivation

In construction, like in life, progress isn’t always flashy. It’s inspections, sanding, and the steady click of boards fitting into place. But stack enough of those small wins together, and you get something lasting.

Here’s your reminder this Friday:

  • Celebrate progress, no matter how small.

  • Keep pushing, even when the work feels tedious.

  • Embrace the grind—it’s building something bigger.

👉 Here’s to wrapping up the week strong and stepping into the weekend with momentum. Excited for the garage and patio final inspection early next week!

Strength Through Every Challenge

There’s a common belief out there: “Once I have enough money, life will be easier.”

The truth? Life always brings new opportunities to grow, and the challenges just evolve.

Sure, money can take care of bills or bring comfort. But building yourself—your skills, your resilience, your creativity—that’s what prepares you for whatever comes next.

At Mr Clean Fix, we see this in action on every job site. Remodeling isn’t always perfectly smooth. Materials arrive on different schedules. A wall might need extra attention to be perfectly square. Weather can change outdoor plans. These moments aren’t setbacks—they’re chances to innovate, adapt, and shine.

Building Strength Through Experience

When James first started in construction, he realized the challenges never truly disappear—they just evolve. Early on, a problem might be, “How do I cut this board straight?” Years later, it becomes, “How do I manage multiple projects while keeping my team and clients happy?”

As Andy Frisella reminds us:

“You will always have challenges. The way to handle them is by becoming strong, skilled, and resilient enough to face them head-on.”

Why This Matters for Home Projects

Remodeling your home can feel big—but it’s not about avoiding every twist and turn. It’s about having the right team and mindset to tackle anything that comes up.

That’s what we bring to every project. Not just tools and materials, but years of experience, patience, and determination to see things through—no matter what challenges arise.

Moving Forward

Success doesn’t come from a problem-free path. It comes from embracing challenges, solving them creatively, and becoming stronger along the way.

At Mr Clean Fix, we love the process. Every project, every home, every challenge is a chance to grow—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Embracing Change: A Fresh Start This Fall

Yesterday marked the first day of fall, and with it comes a natural reminder: change is inevitable. The leaves start to turn, the air cools, and the season shifts whether we’re ready for it or not.

In many ways, remodeling your home is the same. Change comes whether we welcome it or resist it. Maybe it’s a kitchen that no longer works for your family, a deck that needs to be replaced, or a room that’s waiting to be transformed into something new.

As Andy Frisella said in a recent message:

“Growth requires change. Success requires change… and the only way to get wherever it is you’re trying to go in life is by embracing change.”

That’s not just true in business or personal growth—it’s true in home improvement too. Every board replaced, every wall painted, every new design brought to life is a step toward creating the home you envision.

Fall is the perfect season to embrace this mindset. Just as the trees let go of their leaves to prepare for new growth, now is the time to let go of what isn’t serving you in your home—and make room for something better.

“Autumn shows us how beautiful it is to let things go.” – Unknown

At Mr Clean Fix, we know change can be uncomfortable. But we also know that resisting it doesn’t stop it—it only delays your progress. That’s why we help our clients step confidently into the next phase of their homes, whether that’s a new deck, a remodeled kitchen, or a fresh coat of paint.

This fall, don’t fight change. Embrace it. Plan that renovation you’ve been putting off, refresh the space that feels tired, and create the home your future self will thank you for.

Because just like the seasons, your home—and your life—are always moving forward.

Progress Update: Drywall Flying, Deck Taking Shape & A Desk Like No Other

Every week on these projects feels like a step closer to the finish line, and this past one was no exception. From hanging drywall to sanding a one-of-a-kind desk, things are buzzing on all fronts.

Garage Build: From Open Space to Real Room

The garage project is transforming fast. Insulation? ✅ Passed. Back wall? ✅ Framed. Ceiling drywall? ✅ In place.

And now—we’re tackling the walls! Drywall is going up today, which is always a turning point. Once the walls are in, the space suddenly feels like a room instead of just a framed shell. Monday, we’ll have the drywall inspection, and then it’s on to tape, mud, and smoothing things out for a polished finish. Every sheet brings us closer to closing this build in tight before the colder weather rolls in.

Deck Replacement: Another House, Another Transformation

Different property, different city, but just as much progress. The new deck is moving from foundation to frame, with the top of the stairs and railing posts already taking shape. This is the stage where you can really see how it’s going to live—how people will walk it, gather on it, and enjoy it. Right now, it’s lumber and bolts, but soon it’ll be a space for grilling, relaxing, and soaking in the outdoors.

Secret Room: The Desk That Won’t Quit

Then there’s the “secret room,” home to the most ambitious desk we’ve ever built. This isn’t just a desk—it’s a centerpiece, designed to anchor the whole space.

But first, sanding. Lots and lots (and lots) of sanding. It’s the not-so-glamorous part, but it’s what makes the paint finish look flawless. We’ve been at it for a while, but that’s because this desk isn’t just big—it’s luxury-level big. Once painted, it’s going to be a jaw-dropper, worth every pass of the sandpaper.

Why These Steps Matter

Sure, drywall, framing, and sanding aren’t the flashiest updates. But these are the milestones that make the final reveal possible. Each screw, each sheet of drywall, each railing post, each sanded corner—it’s all laying the groundwork for the wow factor that’s coming.

And that’s why we’re excited. Every week we’re moving from plans and prep to spaces that people will live in, work in, and make memories in.

👉 Stick with us—we’re not far from the big reveals, and trust us, they’ll be worth the wait.

Big Dreams, Bigger Decks: The Next Transformation Begins!

At Mr. Clean Fix, there’s nothing like the energy that comes with the start of a big project—especially one that’s about to completely transform an outdoor space. Materials are starting to arrive for our latest build, and excitement is in the air! This time, we’re taking on the challenge of replacing a 9x35 deck with a stunning 12x36 upgrade, towering 10 feet off the ground. And that’s not all—beneath the new staircase, there will be an 8x8 ground-level deck, perfect for shaded seating or a cozy hangout spot. Today, we’re getting the prep work done while we wait for more materials to roll in. It’s a warm one—96 degrees—but nothing can cool our enthusiasm for what’s ahead. The before pictures (shared here) tell part of the story. But just wait until you see the “after”—a sturdy, beautiful space for relaxing, entertaining, and making memories. Every board we replace, every measurement we make, every bolt we tighten—it’s all part of building something that will be enjoyed for years to come. That’s what keeps us inspired, no matter the weather. As they say, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” And this dream deck? It’s just getting started.

Fueled by Progress: Building Dreams One Room at a Time

At Mr. Clean Fix, we don’t just build homes—we build spaces that matter. Each project is a new opportunity to create something meaningful for our clients, and we’re incredibly proud of the transformations currently unfolding.

Since our last update, the garage build took a big step forward with electrical installation now complete. Powering up that space was a major milestone and paves the way for what comes next.

Meanwhile, the bonus room project is in full swing—and it’s shaping up to be one of our favorite custom builds yet! We’ve:

  • Completed all electrical work

  • Laid the subfloor

  • Are actively drywalling, texturing, and prepping to paint

But the real excitement? The custom desk build begins today. Paired with soon-to-be-installed custom fireplace and hardwood floors, this bonus room is going to be a showcase of detail and design.

We love what we do. Yes, the days are long. Yes, remodeling can be tough. But the satisfaction of seeing a project come to life keeps us energized.

“Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.” – Robert Collier

In the Thick of It: Mindset and Momentum When You’re Building Through Burnout

Let’s be real—some days feel like you’re crushing it. Other days? It feels like the work is crushing you.

Running a remodeling company means early mornings, late nights, weather delays, broken tools, supply chain hiccups, and surprise client curveballs. When you’re in the thick of it, mindset isn’t a trendy buzzword—it’s your survival gear.

The Reality of the Grind

We’re currently juggling multiple projects—a garage/patio build, new slider install, material delays, and that never-ending to-do list. It’s easy to feel like you’re barely keeping up, especially when your phone won’t stop ringing and you’re still trying to grab a quick bite between job sites.

Burnout starts creeping in—not because you’re weak, but because you care. You care about the outcome. You care about your clients. You care about getting it right.

But Here’s the Truth: Motion Creates Emotion

When you’re physically exhausted, it’s not about forcing positivity. It’s about finding purpose in the process. You don’t need to feel 100% every day—you just need to keep showing up.

Every cut, every nail, every coat of paint—each one is building more than a house. It’s building your reputation. It’s building trust. It’s building something that didn’t exist yesterday.

You don’t need to sprint—you just need to walk forward.

How to Protect Your Mindset When You’re Maxed Out

  1. Simplify where you can.
Delegate. Automate. Say no when you need to. Not every fire is yours to put out.

  2. Celebrate small wins.
Did you hit a milestone? Finish a phase? Avoid a mistake? Good. Take 30 seconds and let yourself feel it.

  3. Stay present.
Don’t get lost in “what’s next.” Focus on what’s right now. Measure twice. Breathe deep. Do the job in front of you.

  4. Lean on your why.
You started this business for a reason. For your family. For your freedom. For the pride of doing something real. Remind yourself of that when the weight feels heavy.

You’re Not Alone in the Hard Seasons

We’re not here to pretend the work isn’t hard. It is. But that’s exactly what makes it worth doing. Everyone loves the after photo—but we live in the during.

The pressure, the sweat, the long hours—that’s where the real magic is made.

So if you’re in the thick of it right now, keep swinging. Keep showing up. Keep putting one boot in front of the other.

The work you’re doing matters. And you’re not done yet.

Beat the Heat, Build the Dream: Starting at 6:30am on a 97° Day

Summer in North Idaho is no joke — and today, July 8th, is proof. With a forecasted high of 97°, we knew we had to hit the ground running. Our crew was on-site by 6:30am, climbing up to sheet a garage roof before the sun really cranked things up. Working under that kind of heat takes strategy, stamina, and a whole lot of water breaks.

We’re in one of those seasons where the to-do list is long, the jobs keep stacking up, and every day is full throttle. And while that might sound exhausting (it is sometimes), the truth is — we’re grateful.

Grateful to be this busy.
Grateful to work with incredible customers who trust us with their homes.
Grateful for a hardworking team that shows up early and gives it their all.
Grateful to build something meaningful, one project at a time.

Running a small business isn’t always glamorous — especially when it’s nearly 100° and you're racing the sun to beat the heat. But moments like today remind us why we do this: because it’s worth it. Every early morning, every hot rooftop, every detail matters — and they all add up to something bigger.

Thank you to our clients, our crew, and everyone cheering us on. We're staying cool (as best we can) and staying grateful — all summer long.

Before & After Magic: The Rewarding Transformation of a Full Home Remodel

There’s something undeniably powerful about a great “before and after.” The journey from outdated to upgraded, from worn out to fresh and functional—it’s one of the most satisfying parts of what we do at Mr. Clean Fix LLC.

We just wrapped up a full remodel project that included the kitchen, guest bathroom, and master bath. The home had solid bones, but it needed a facelift. The cabinets were tired oak, the fixtures outdated, and the color palette was stuck in another decade. But take a look at what a little vision and a lot of effort can do!

✅ We painted the kitchen and bathroom cabinetry in a gorgeous, earthy green—on-trend and timeless.
✅ Installed all new lighting and plumbing fixtures with matte black finishes for a bold modern contrast.
✅ Swapped out appliances and hardware to bring both style and function into the 21st century.
✅ Laid down fresh, light-toned flooring to brighten up every space.

Seeing the final results—the clean lines, refreshed color palette, and elevated design—reminds us why we love this work. It’s not just about construction; it’s about creating spaces that feel like home again.

We’ve included a few of our favorite before and after photos here. Swipe to see the difference a remodel can make! And if you’re dreaming of a transformation of your own, we’d love to help you bring it to life.

Chasing Growth & Guarding Time: The Balance Behind Small Business Life

When we started Mr Clean Fix, the goal wasn’t just to build a business—it was to build a life.

A life with more flexibility.
A life where family time wasn’t squeezed into leftover hours.
A life where we could choose the work we do and the time we take off.

As James’ son comes to town this week to spend the summer, it’s the perfect reminder of why we chose the small business path to begin with. Yes, we’re growing. Yes, the jobs keep coming. But so much of this grind only matters if we don’t forget to enjoy the people and moments right in front of us.

We’ve been going hard—renovations, design work, blog posts, estimates, and new clients coming in weekly. And we love that. But we also know it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and forget the reason we wanted this life in the first place: freedom.

So here’s a gentle reminder for all of us—whether you run your own business or you’re just trying to juggle the pace of modern life:

Growth is important. But so is rest.
Progress matters. But so does presence.
Building a business is a big dream—but raising your kids, enjoying a summer evening, or just having coffee on the porch is a dream too.

That’s why moving forward, we’ll be focusing on one blog post each week—every Tuesday—to bring intentionality back into our routine. It’s not about doing less—it’s about doing the right things at the right time, with space to breathe.

So as we gear up for a summer full of projects, we’re also making space for laughter, family BBQs, and unhurried days with the people we love.

Thanks for being part of this journey. Growth is the goal—but balance is the lifestyle.

Green Is In: Why This Bold, Natural Hue is the Star of 2025

Color can transform a space—and this year, green is having its moment.

At Mr Clean Fix, we’ve seen a surge in requests for bold, earthy greens that bring personality and calm into the home. Whether it’s a pop of color or a full-blown statement, green is proving to be the color of choice for 2025.

Take a look at a few of our recent projects:
We just wrapped up a kitchen and bathroom where green cabinetry turned everyday spaces into something fresh and timeless. The deep green pairs beautifully with granite countertops, matte black fixtures, and light-colored flooring, creating a natural yet upscale feel.

And it’s not just cabinets. We’re currently painting green shutters to match the trim on a recent exterior project—giving it a cohesive and curb-friendly finish.

Even more exciting? Another client is leaning into the green trend, too. They’re planning a 10-foot custom-built desk with shelves and drawers, all in green—plus green for the surrounding walls. It’s going to be a stunning workspace that feels both inspiring and grounded.

Why Are So Many Choosing Green?

Because green is:

  • 🌿 Naturally calming – Ties in beautifully with wood, stone, and light finishes.

  • 💡 Creative and energizing – Especially in workspaces, green promotes focus and reduces stress.

  • 🎨 Design-flexible – Looks amazing in modern, rustic, farmhouse, or traditional spaces.

At Mr Clean Fix, we’re loving the way this trend gives homes a fresh, creative edge without sacrificing warmth or comfort. Whether you're thinking about green cabinets, a green accent wall, or custom green furniture, we can help bring the vision to life.

Progress Takes Time: Why the Small Steps in Remodeling Matter

When you scroll through Pinterest-perfect kitchens or magazine-worthy remodels, it’s easy to forget the process behind the polish. The truth is, home remodeling is rarely instant — but it’s always worth it.

Take this kitchen we're currently transforming for a client. At first glance, it might just look like a space in mid-chaos: tools on the counter, paint lines in progress, cabinet doors off their hinges. But every little detail in this photo tells a story of momentum — the kind that builds quietly with each task completed.

Remodeling Is a Marathon, Not a Sprint

Behind every “after” shot is a series of carefully planned and executed steps:

  • Measuring and leveling.

  • Priming and painting.

  • Installing hardware, replacing trim, testing lighting layouts.
These steps aren’t glamorous — but they’re essential. Each one lays the foundation for the next, and skipping them would compromise the final result.

Why the Middle Matters

In this project, the flooring has been replaced, repainted cabinetry in a bold and beautiful green, and prepped for custom touches throughout. It’s not finished yet — but it’s on its way. And that’s the magic of remodeling: you get to witness the evolution of a space becoming something truly special.

Trust the Process

Whether you're painting a single room or gutting an entire kitchen, trust the small wins. The progress you can’t always see — like better durability, tighter corners, or straighter seams — makes all the difference in the finished product.

So if you’re in the middle of a remodel and starting to feel impatient, remember this: progress isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like painter’s tape, cabinet screws, and sawdust. But in the end, it turns into something beautiful.
